Bear Creek Elementary PTA

PTA FUNdraising at Bear Creek!

Please support the Bear Creek PTA this year by donating to Pass the Hat!

WHO: All students are supported by Bear Creek PTA through the programming the PTA supports. The PTA is asking for a $75 donation/student, however any donation amount will help to reach our goal of $32,000! PTA will spend all of the funds raised through Pass the Hat on programming for this year only--if your student is at Bear Creek this year, they will benefit from these programs.

WHAT: Pass the Hat is a cash donation to Bear Creek PTA. This donation is tax deductible and may be matched by your employer--please don't forget to MATCH!

WHEN: Hoping to reach our $32,000 goal by November 30th, 2016.

WHERE: You can donate to Pass the Hat through the Fundraising Icon or Join the PTA (when registering as a PTA member). You may have received a Membership or Fundraising form at curriculum night, please send one of these forms to school with your check made payable to "Bear Creek PTA" and have your child place it in the PTA box in any classroom foyer.

WHY: The funds raised through Pass the Hat support community events and the school through various efforts, so far this year PTA has....Hosted the back to school teacher luncheon, Ice Cream Social, Back to School Coffee and purchased Friday Folders and Raz Kids for Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade. We've set up Fall after school classes and will start to review community grants and teacher/staff classroom grants. Art Docent lessons, Movie Night, Reflections, Bingo Night, and Missoula Workshops will all occur over the next month---And that's just the first two months of school!

We're excited to offer every student Bear Creek branded Thank You's as we reach our goals: $8,000 Bear Creek Pencils, $16,000 Bear Creek keychains, $24,000 Bear Creek water bottles, $32,000 All School Event!

PTA Advocates for all Children

Did you know that PTA has a over a century of speaking for every child with one voice?   For over 100 years PTA has used legislative advocacy to further the objectives of PTA to building a better world for children.  In fact, PTA is the oldest and largest child advocacy organization in the country. PTA advocates on behalf of all children on the important issues impacting education, health and safety.

Every year Bear Creek Elementary PTA supports our school, students and families with a huge range of programs that benefit every student in the school. These range from providing classroom grants for our teachers, ensuring access to a wide range of after school enrichment classes, running movie nights, STEM fair, theatre opportunities, subsidizing field trips and so much more.

After School Enrichment Classes

After School Enrichment Classes will begin in October.

The Fall session will include LEGO, Scratch coding, and Art.

In addition there's a new Chess Team that runs year round, and year-round French and Spanish classes will continue.

Registration is not open yet. Afterschool Class registration will open September 26th at 10am. We realize that some flyers from the Ice Cream Social said you could register now, but that was a miscommunication. We know parents are eager to grab a spot, but know that French, Spanish I, and II still have openings and all other classes are empty.
