Thank you, volunteers!

Bear Creek PTA is a volunteer run organization.  We have lots of amazing volunteers, and as always have lots of volunteer openings this year.

All of the amazing programs we run rely on volunteer help.  Helping, even for a couple of hours a year with an event setup or cleanup is an amazing help - and you get to have fun & meet great people.

Please take a moment to sign up for an event that is important to you.

YES, I CAN VOLUNTEER FOR DAY  THIS SCHOOL YEAR!

If you are a father, grandfather or male family member Bear Creek Elementary is excited to launch a family and community engagement program called WATCH D.O.G.S. ® (Dads Of Great Students) in Fall 2018. The WATCH D.O.G.S.® program is one of the largest and most respected family and community engagement initiatives in the country. Each year thousands of schools across the country utilize the WATCH D.O.G.S.® program to reach out to the fathers and father-figures of their students and invite those men to take at least one full day off work during the school year and spend that entire day volunteering in their child’s school.

If you are a mother, grandmother or female family member the Bear Creek Elementary F.R.O.G.S. (friends and relatives of great students) is the program for you! The BCE F.R.O.G.S. program was created to offer a volunteering option for parents, family members and friends of Bear Creek students who want to be more involved but who are unable to volunteer on a more frequent basis. Our program's goal is to increase parent involvement and grow our school community by supporting and promoting the wellbeing of our students and their school! BCE F.R.O.G.S. invites mothers, family and friends of Bear Creek students to take at least one full day off work during the school year and spend that entire day volunteering in their child’s school.

Our goal is to have at least one volunteer per week for the school year beginning the first week of October.

Your Voice Matters

Your voice matters! Please take a few moments and let us know what’s important to you and your family by taking the Bear Creek PTA online survey to help your PTA delegates vote on the TOP 5 issues that are most important to our school.

The issues supporting the “Health, Education & Welfare” of our students cover a wide spectrum of legislative policies from school meals and closing to the gaps to pre-school, recess, SEL, teacher shortages, gun safety and more.

Take the survey to find out what’s on the proposed agenda and share your priorities with your PTA.

Click this link to start the survey:

Survey is only open through Friday, Oct. 5th.
